Vacation Bible School - August 2- 5th 6:00-8:00 pm. Join us in "Water Wonders". Pre school-5th grade. All are welcome - call or email the church to register.

Couple's Group - August 19th 7:00 pm. How have you and your spouse managed the pressure that our busy lives acquire? Come to couple's group and lets share ideas.
Couple's Night Out babysitting - August 13th. Bring your children while you and your spouse enjoy an evening out with free childcare. 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
Food Bag Program - God of Hope (Gifts of Discipleship Helping Other People Engage) Stewardship and Mission Goal for 2010. With the raise in job losses, there has been an increase in poverty. Current meal options for those who are hungry or homeless in Mitchell is Monday through Saturday. There is no food resources on Sunday. We would like to to able to feed 25 families each week for the entire year. Monetary donations can be sent to the church if you would like to help feed those in financial need. The more we look outside ourselves, the more God blesses us.
The Church has been awarded $815.32 (40% of $2000.00) matching funds for Media with a Mission grant from the God is Still speaking Ministry. The church will run a weekly God is Still Speaking ad in the newspaper for 2 years. The church’s matching amount will be about $50.00 per month for the 2 years. Monetary donations can be sent to the church.
